Alejandro Schmeichler
We're pleased to announce the release of JReviews 5.1.2! This update introduces a new feature for Joomla users and addresses several important fixes to enhance the overall functionality and reliability of JReviews. We're also including information about the recent 5.1.1 update in this announcement.
What's New in 5.1.2
For Joomla Users: New Publication Date Sync Option
Joomla users will find a new "sync with created date" action for the publication date field in listing forms. This feature, available in the Control Panel, offers more flexibility in managing your content's publication dates.
Important Fixes in 5.1.2
We've addressed several issues to improve your experience with JReviews:
- Custom Fields: Fixed an issue where access settings would reappear after being cleared.
- Field Options: Corrected the automatic generation of field option values when creating new options.
- Comments: Resolved an issue where comment links without titles appeared blank in the control panel; they now show a placeholder.
- Textarea Custom Fields: Added missing "allow HTML" and "WYSIWYG editor" settings.
- Default Images: Implemented a fix to handle cases where users set default images with an empty default image path.
- Listing Moderation: Addressed a preview error that occurred when tags for non-existent custom fields were used in field output format.
Queue Addon Update
The Queue Add-on received an important fix to reduce the wait time between processing of queued jobs and prevent long running cron times when there's nothing to process in the queue.
Assist AI Addon Update
The Open AI models used by Assist AI were updated to gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct and gpt-4o-mini for improved performance and lower costs.
